Water problems on a driveway don't stay small for long. What starts as a drain that isn't moving water properly can turn into cracked concrete, eroded landscaping, and eventually a much bigger repair bill. That's exactly the kind of situation we stepped in to fix here.

The existing drain running across this concrete driveway had failed. We cut into the concrete, pulled the old drain out, and set a new linear channel drain in its place - properly bedded and tied into the surrounding drainage system. You can see the moment mid-demo where the water that had been sitting trapped underneath finally had somewhere to go. That's not a surprise to us. That's exactly why this work matters.

Getting the concrete work right around a channel drain is just as important as the drain itself. The new concrete was troweled tight to the drain body on both sides, giving it a clean, solid edge that'll hold up under vehicle traffic. Sloppy concrete around a drain is one of the fastest ways to end up with the same problem again in a year or two. We don't cut corners there.

The system ties into catch basins set back into the rock landscaping, giving water a clear path off the driveway and away from the structure. Everything flows where it's supposed to. That's the whole point. Small job on paper - but the kind of work that quietly protects a property for years.

We treat every drainage and concrete repair the same way, whether it's a massive commercial pour or a single driveway drain. The details matter no matter the size of the job.
